Declan Moore

Declan Moore (b 1995, Sydney, Australia) is a Sydney based visual artist whose practice crosses animating and film. His practice deals with the delineation between digital space and the physical space. If our aging ‘Capitalocene’ creates the illusion of 24/7 image and labour availability, what is the wage paid to an internet instant? If the Symbiocene, where the concept of symbiosis affirms the interconnectedness of life and all living things, exists, are we as humans not moss clinging to the underside of our rock; the internet? 

Moore spent two years studying a Bachelors of Fine Arts/History of Art in the United Kingdom at Goldsmiths College University of London, before returning to Sydney to enrol at the National Art School completing his Bachelor of Fine Art in 2022.
